Story: Bull Mohawk, an offshore rig drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico, is about to make a horrific discovery. Unknown to man, trapped beneath Earth’s crust and latched onto oil-filled rock pockets, are things soon to be known as “Oil Busters.” The colorful crew of the Bull Mohawk must struggle to save their rig from an unknown entity. Meanwhile, scientists make their way to the distressed rig to find out why drilling operations seem to be declining in the United States. Other countries, unaware of the Oil Busters, see this as the perfect opportunity to play an awful political game with America and her allies. Our greatest fears have been awakened with the arrival of the Oil Busters. What’s causing the eruption of offshore rigs around the globe? Will the crew of the Bull Mohawk stand and fight or flee the rig? How will the President of the United States save the country from an oil crisis? This catastrophe has been long in the making, but humanity may pull through if we work together.

New Logo – Blog

NEW LOGO - ZE GAME STUDIO

When we decided to design a new logo for our studio, we were extremely confused about it. Why? Because a logo represents the idea and the concept of your work. This is why we felt the dire need of designing a solid logo. Well, this is how we started.

SKETCHES AND CONCEPTS

We designed our logo by viewing at the logo designs of the most inspiring and our favorite gaming studios. Since we have always been fascinated by Dragons and there exists some unexplainable relation with the attractive Dragon designs so we thought about keeping it as our chief in the logo. The concept is very clear and straight. We wanted the logo to rotate around our ideas and represent the kind of work we do, luckily it truly explains the nature of our work and the name Zagreus went along with our theme without a glitch. We sketched the logo after trying different kinds of techniques and strategies. Oh well, it was one hell of a task to do.

COLOR SELECTION

We tried different shapes, styles, custom fonts, and moved the logo/dragon upside down millions of times until we obtained the final layout. After that, deciding the color of the logo was not an easy job to do since everyone suggested different colors and themes. We did some R&D in designs/colors and finally agreed on the mix and match of splendid colors. Keeping in view everyone’s opinion was our top priority.

FINAL OUTPUT

We were overwhelmed when we saw the final output and our hard work finally paid off. The logo is exactly what we have desired for and it reflects the nature of our Work and Studio.
